Need

Adapt one creative, project-based course for two platforms with different learners and technical constraints.

Solution

Platform-specific learning paths, supplemental content, hooks, discussions, assignments, rubrics, and peer critique.

Outcome

Two coherent course experiences preserved open-ended creative work across NYU and edX.

Why it matters

It required balancing a shared instructional vision with the distinct affordances of each platform.

Methods & tools: Curriculum design · edX · Multimedia · Peer assessment · Rubric design

Two platforms, one learning vision

I collaborated with faculty developer Scott Fitzgerald to tailor the experience to each platform’s learners. The challenge lay in bringing creative projects and peer feedback to the more rigid edX environment.
